18-20 Somethings Young
Adult/College
6:00 - 8:00 PM
- led by Bette
Thompson and Julia Stevens in room L-6 |
If you were going to recruit a team to alter the
course of history, who would you choose? Jesus’
uncommon way was in choosing twelve ordinary, common
individuals – fisherman, a tax collector, political
rebels, a thief. People who had hopes and dreams,
daily struggles, ordinary talents. But, also ones
who were willing to risk everything to follow the
Savior. Jesus called, trained and sent them out to
be a light to the world. This is the same call that
he has for each one of us!
We are a Christian community of young people -
ages "18 -20 something"!! We gather together each
Sunday night to share our lives, celebrate our
successes, laugh, eat together, hang out, and just
have fun getting to know each other. Beginning
August 29, 2010, we will be following the book
Twelve Ordinary Men by John MacArthur for seven
weeks. Join us every Sunday night at First United
Methodist Church of Mishawaka. Questions call Bette
574.229.7810 or Julia 574.256.1342. Great coffee,
soft drinks, munchies provided.

Come, bring your friends, and contribute to the
dialogue as we learn about these inspirational and
ordinary people whom Jesus called disciples!
